Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, weed eating, edging, fertilizing to promote healthy turf growth.
• Maintain gardens by pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, weeding beds, and mulching to enhance visual appeal.
• Operate landscaping equipment such as power tools, hedge trimmers, blowers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including irrigation system repairs, hardscape cleaning, and general site cleanup.
• Assist with tree and shrub care duties like trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate tools while adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure all grounds are safe and well-maintained through regular inspections and prompt repairs or adjustments.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care techniques, and soil management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with operating power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers.
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment maintenance helps ensure longevity and safety of tools.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
