Landscape Maintenance Worker

Looking for a fellow to come work along with me part time at first and then full time as we progress. Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, mulching beds, and installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways and patios.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for trimming, edging, digging, and other landscaping tasks.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks, adjusting controllers, and repairing components to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Support construction projects involving excavation with equipment such as excavators or skid steers to prepare sites for new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, aeration, pest control, and irrigation management.
• Experience in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care (including trimming), gardening, and hardscape installation.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials when necessary.
