Duties

• The position of Landscape Maintenance Laborer involves pruning, mulching, lawn re-seeding, irrigation, etc. This position is physically demanding and requires work in all types of weather. We do not mow lawns. Previous work in landscaping is a plus but not required.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including spring and fall cleanups, shrub and tree pruning, mulching and edging.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power equipment safely
• Basic understanding of landscape maintenance techniques
• Experience in landscaping projects including pruning and mulching.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs multiple times a day
• Valid driver’s license required!
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices is a plus but not required

The season starts in early April and ends around Thanksgiving. We work 10 hour days/5 days a week. Some Saturdays are possible.

Medical benefits begin after 90 days with additional benefits after one year.

This position is for Landscape Maintenance Laborer. However, we are always looking for qualified individuals that may be a good fit for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position.

Job Type: Full-time seasonal

Pay: Starting wage is dependent on experience. $18.00 per hour, weekly pay plus overtime.
