Landscape Materials Delivery Driver (Class A CDL)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Landscape Materials Delivery Driver (Class A CDL) at Precision Landscape is responsible for driving and operating a variety of trucks, including straight or articulated trucks, tractor trailer, flatbed, and dump trucks. The Truck Driver will work closely with the Crew Lead, Field Supervisors and Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while focusing on delivering a quality product to our clients.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

· Drive and operate a variety of trucks/equipment to complete job tasks to assist with landscape construction projects.

· Transport materials to and from the jobsites, including loading and unloading.

· Using proper tie-down procedures, secure materials to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load.

· Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

· Organize, clean and maintain materials yard.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

· Basic understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the projects, tools & materials used.

· Positive attitude towards your work and your team members.

· Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

· Desire and willingness to learn the landscaping trade.

· Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License

· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

· Safe driving record

· Basic measurement and calculation sills

· Experience in the landscape/construction industry preferred.

· Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Work outdoors in various conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.

· Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.

· Capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly and assisting on job sites as necessary.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
