Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage daily and weekly schedules for labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish contract maintenance schedules within established budgets. Maintains strict adherence to established schedules and budgets. Understand contract specifications and ensure they are met.
- Oversee scheduling of construction, irrigation, fertilization, and maintenance divisions using Aspire.
- 5- 10 years’ experience in managing multiple snow properties and crews.
- Have excellent client communications and experience maintaining customer’s satisfaction. Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner to ensure proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
- Provides most recent plans to field staff at the beginning of each day and provides instruction to ensure Crew supervisors and crew are prepared to complete the job.
- Ensures all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines.
- Conducts weekly safety training and safety inspections on job sites.
- Investigates any accident or safety violation, prepares appropriate reports, takes action steps to correct and prevent future occurrences. Defines and implements solutions to recurring accidents or most common hazards.
- Maintains proper inventory of materials, equipment, and other supplies to complete maintenance activities.
- Orders materials, equipment and supplies as needed within purchasing limits.
- Supervise employees, keeping attendance records, enforcing proper uniform and safety equipment use, and approving time clock.
- Overall human resource management of field staff within the department. Includes hiring, firing, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to reach potential and established goals for the individual and the division. Identify and develop team while partnering with our human resources department.
- Maintains sufficient staff to accomplish maintenance schedules and analyzes future needs, forecasting staff and material needs to complete future maintenance jobs.
- Conducts timely performance reviews of direct reports and takes corrective action when appropriate.
- Visit job sites on a regular basis, observing organization of work, identifying, and resolving training issues, taking necessary actions to ensure quality.
- Maintain day-to-day working knowledge of all maintenance contracts in progress.
- Monitor job costs weekly and reacts to any maintenance jobs deviating from budgets of time, schedule, cost or any other factor so appropriate adjustments can be made to maximize result.
- Maintain high level of care of company assets in the field, vehicles, and customer work sites.
- Stay aware of Best Practices. Develop and recommend improved work methods and standards when appropriate.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements:
- Minimum 10 plus years industry experience.
- Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience managing multiple teams.
- Perform accurate and timely recordkeeping, computer skills required to document work completed.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of computer applications is a must. Experience with Outlook, Aspire, Fleetio is a plus.
- Current Driver’s License with a clean driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Pay will be determined based on experience.
- The ability to work independently and take-on additional projects as assigned.
