Landscape Project Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Foreman to lead construction teams and oversee the successful execution of complex projects. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, ensure adherence to safety standards, manage schedules, and maintain quality control. Your leadership will drive project progress, foster teamwork, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support
  • Monitor project schedules using construction management software such as Jobber to keep projects on track
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets all safety standards, and client expectations
  • Manage project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and adjust project schedules, and resource allocations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety protocols across the site

Requirements (Must-Have Experience)

  • Proven experience in landscape installation (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
  • Strong background in hardscape installation, including:
  • paver installation (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
  • Proper base prep, grading, and compaction techniques
  • Experience installing drainage systems:
  • French drains, downspout extensions, grading for water management
  • Ability to read job layouts and execute projects independently
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing or assisting with a crew on job sites
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive company vehicles and trailers

Preferred Skills (Strongly Desired)

  • Experience operating landscaping and construction equipment, such as:
  • Compact loaders
  • Mini excavators
  • Skid steers
  • Knowledge of:
  • Site prep and excavation techniques
  • Material handling (stone, mulch, soil, pavers)
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems on-site and adjust as needed
  • Experience with crew coordination, job flow, and efficiency

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
