PTWL is seeking a skilled Landscape Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quantity take-offs, cost control, payment certifications, and financial forecasting from tender stage through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all quantity take-offs, payment certifications, and cost forecasts from tender/pitch stage through project completion.
- Perform quantity take-offs in accordance with approved methods of measurement from drawings for subcontractor evaluation, client payment applications, and material procurement.
- Prepare and submit monthly payment applications to clients.
- Prepare, price, and submit variation orders for client approval.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and project specifications.
- Develop new rates for non-tender items and additional scope of work.
- Prepare subcontractor packages for specialized scopes of work.
- Float enquiries to suppliers/manufacturers and conduct technical evaluations.
- Finalize subcontractors within the approved project budget.
- Prepare payment certificates, variation statements, and final accounts based on executed works.
- Forecast and control project costs to ensure completion within the approved budget.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Prepare monthly progress and financial reports for management review.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in landscaping companies or similar construction roles.
- Mandatory experience in quantity take-offs.
- Familiarity with project management and cost control processes.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong typing and editing skills.
- Excellent data organization skills.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
