Landscape Supply Yard Manager

Job Summary
PALS is opening our new landscape supply yard and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Supply Yard Manager to lead the team. In this role, you will manage the yard team with the goal of providing excellent service and efficiency to our customers. You will also oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of landscaping materials, ensuring seamless service for our clients and team members. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster strong vendor relationships, and uphold the highest standards of quality our business. Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for landscaping supplies, including plants, soil, mulch, irrigation systems, and construction materials
• Support landscaping projects by providing expert advice on material selection and usage
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing waste and excess stock
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards
• Supervise staff responsible for inventory handling, stocking, and customer service within the supply department
• Support landscaping projects by providing expert advice on material selection and usage
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to handling hazardous materials and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• CMHA Certification is Required
• Proven experience in landscape supply business management
• Strong knowledge of hardscapes, mulch, aggregates and landscaping practices
• Familiarity with landscape construction processes and maintenance routines
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and record keeping
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and clients to ensure smooth operations

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
