Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Team Leader to oversee and manage landscape projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will supervise a team of landscape technicians, ensuring that all project aspects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in landscaping techniques, coupled with strong leadership and attention to detail, will drive the success of our projects and enhance client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision: Lead and manage landscaping projects, including hardscaping, softscaping, and irrigation installations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of landscape technicians, providing training and direction to promote efficient and safe work practices.
• Quality Control: Uphold exceptional workmanship standards, meticulously adhering to established landscaping practices and industry benchmarks.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the use, maintenance, and storage of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace incidents and foster a secure working environment.
• Material Procurement: Manage the sourcing of high-quality landscaping materials, ensuring adequate supply for project needs.
• Client Communication: Maintain proactive and effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project challenges promptly, making informed decisions to maintain project momentum.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Documentation: Keep accurate project records, including progress reports, timecards, and inventory logs.
• Sustainability: Advocate for sustainable landscaping practices, such as water conservation and the use of eco-friendly materials.
• Continued Education: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging landscaping techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on landscaping or hardscaping experience.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscaping plans and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., landscaping, horticulture) are a plus
• Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed).
• Pay: Bi-weekly, negotiable based on experience.
• Overtime: Pre-approval required for hours exceeding 40 per week.

• Arrive 10 minutes early to prepare for the workday.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 pounds).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Stamina and physical fitness for extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
