Landscape Technician-DRIVERS NEEDED!

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician (DRIVER) to join our team. MUST HAVE A CURRENT DRIVERS LICENCE! This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping and horticultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating a range of tools and equipment. Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and tree care, including tree trimming and arborist-related tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Maintain garden beds, perform fertilization, and apply horticultural practices to promote plant health.
• Support construction activities related to landscape projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment such as excavators and power tools.
• Familiarity with gardening techniques, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation is desirable.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design will be beneficial.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently is essential.
