The Landscape Technician, Maintenance is responsible for performing general landscape maintenance and installation tasks on residential and commercial properties. This entry-level Landscape Technician, Maintenance role involves hands-on outdoor labor, operating landscaping tools and equipment, and following all safety and company standards. Under supervision of a Crew Leader, the Landscape Technician, Maintenance supports daily work assignments and helps maintain the health, appearance, and cleanliness of client properties.

As a Landscape Technician, Maintenance, you will:
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns using walk-behind or riding mowers, edgers, and string trimmers
- Perform planting, mulching, weeding, watering, and soil preparation tasks
- Assist with pruning shrubs, small trees, and perennials using hand or power tools
- Rake leaves, remove debris, and maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Apply mulch and other materials as directed
- Support seasonal clean-up tasks, including leaf removal and snow prep (when applicable)
The Landscape Technician, Maintenance will:
- Safely operate hand tools, backpack blowers, trimmers, shears, and other equipment
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials for daily jobs
- Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and vehicles
- Follow direction from the Crew Leader and contribute to job site efficiency
The Landscape Technician, Maintenance must:
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Adhere to company policies and supervisor instructions
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
- Participate in job briefings or safety meetings as assigned

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: No experience required for the Landscape Technician, Maintenance role; training provided. Prior outdoor labor or groundskeeping experience is a plus
- Licensing: Valid driver's license preferred

The Landscape Technician, Maintenance role involves:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Operating trimmers, blowers, mowers, shovels, and similar equipment
- Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun
- Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and landscape materials
- Occasional work on ladders, slopes, or uneven terrain
- Required use of PPE (gloves, glasses, ear protection, boots)
The Landscape Technician, Maintenance must be available for early start times, overtime, and occasional weekend shifts as needed.
