Monahan Lawn Care & Property Services is actively seeking a motivated and skilled Landscaper to join our dedicated team of outdoor professionals. This role is essential in delivering high-quality landscape installations and property enhancements that reflect our commitment to craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and landscape excellence.

Position Overview:

The Landscaping position at Monahan Lawn Care & Property Services plays a key role in installing and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our residential and commercial clients. This position focuses on hands-on landscape installation, plantings, hardscape projects, and property improvements.

The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in creating clean, professional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install landscape features including plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, rock, and edging.
• Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, retaining walls, paver walkways, and decorative stone installations.
• Perform grading, sod installation, and site preparation work.
• Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow project plans and directions from supervisors to ensure accurate installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with clients when on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to company standards.

Daily Tasks:

• Loading trucks and trailers with materials and equipment for the day’s projects
• Checking tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
• Installing plants, mulch, rock, or sod
• Assisting with hardscape layout and construction
• Cleaning and organizing job sites upon completion
• Unloading and securing equipment at the end of the day

Qualifications:

• Previous landscaping experience preferred (1+ year ideal, but willing to train the right candidate).
• Basic knowledge of plants, materials, and landscape installation practices.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday. Weekend work may be required based on business needs.
