Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush turf.
• Maintain landscapes by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care such as trimming and removal when necessary.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for planting, grading, and hardscape installation.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscaped areas.
• Execute landscape maintenance routines including mulching, planting flowers, installing garden features, and snow plowing during winter months.
• Construct hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring attention and perform routine maintenance to uphold aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators.
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Knowledge of landscaping principles including hardscape installation and plant care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring stamina; capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, tree care techniques including trimming and removal, snow plowing procedures, and general construction practices.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards.
• Prior experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay: From $18.50 per hour
