Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as edging, aerating, and installing landscape features
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows to support construction projects or seasonal maintenance needs
• Implement irrigation systems and perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth
• Maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural elements with precision
• Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, overseeding, and fertilization to ensure lush turf conditions
• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow plowing in winter months or garden preparation in springtime
• Support landscaping projects from start to finish by preparing sites, planting new greenery, and installing landscape features

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance practices
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and construction equipment such as excavators
• Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Ability to operate snow plows or other seasonal machinery when necessary
• Knowledge of gardening principles and horticulture best practices for plant health and soil management
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
