Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and general landscape upkeep
• Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Use equipment like excavators for site preparation or grading tasks under supervision
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and hand tools effectively
• Experience or interest in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Familiarity with power tools such as trimmers, blowers, saws, and other landscaping equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and tree care practices is desirable
• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling equipment like excavators or heavy machinery
• Prior experience in construction, hardscape, or landscaping projects is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
