Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves maintaining gardens, lawns, and hardscapes, ensuring that all areas are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall health and appearance of the landscapes we manage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to maintain gardens and flower beds.
• Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
• Assist with groundskeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces.
• Implement hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls as needed.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Monitor plant health and report any issues related to pests or diseases.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping tasks is essential.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing practices and irrigation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and hardscaping techniques.
• Valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
