Landscaper Job Description

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces to ensure they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. This role involves hands-on work performing routine landscaping tasks and supporting overall property upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, trimming, and watering.
• Plant, maintain, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery.
• Remove weeds, leaves, and debris to keep grounds neat and well-maintained.
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools safely.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as mulching, planting, and snow or ice removal (if applicable).
• Monitor outdoor areas and report any damage, hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of equipment at all times.
• Work as part of a team to complete landscaping projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and techniques is a plus.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
