Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscaping activities
• Maintain lawns through mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy growth
• Implement irrigation systems, adjusting and repairing as needed to ensure proper watering of plants and turf
• Conduct gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays to enhance visual appeal
• Carry out routine maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with landscape design projects by preparing soil beds and installing new plantings or features

Skills

• Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance best practices
• Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control
• Familiarity with gardening principles and horticulture practices for healthy plant growth
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws) safely
• Strong understanding of landscaping techniques to create visually appealing outdoor spaces
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for garden machinery
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
