Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds looking pristine
• Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf
• Maintain gardens by planting, fertilizing, mulching, and weeding to promote healthy growth
• Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to pests or disease and take appropriate action
• Assist with landscape design projects by preparing soil, planting new greenery, and installing features like pathways or decorative elements
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for various gardening tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and horticulture principles is a plus
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy materials, and digging
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape care and maintenance
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Valid driver’s license may be required for equipment operation or transportation purposes
