Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing lawns and garden beds to promote healthy growth
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscaping activities
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks, adjusting settings, and repairing components to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Assist with planting new greenery such as shrubs, flowers, trees, and other landscape features according to project plans
• Conduct routine groundskeeping duties like debris removal, weed control, mulching, and soil preparation to keep outdoor spaces tidy and attractive
• Support landscaping projects by installing features such as pathways, borders, or decorative elements under supervision
• Monitor the health of plants through gardening practices rooted in horticulture principles; identify pests or diseases early for prompt action
• Use gardening techniques to enhance the aesthetic appeal of landscapes while adhering to environmental sustainability practices

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance best practices is advantageous
• Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers is beneficial
• Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and soil management will help you succeed in this role
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
