Job Summary

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and lush
• Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and performing seasonal gardening tasks
• Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently
• Install and repair hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Conduct irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency for all landscaped areas
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety standards are met and machinery remains in excellent condition

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and landscaping machinery confidently
• Experience in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control
• Skilled in landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, mulching, and soil preparation
• Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape design ideas
• Ability to use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners along with larger equipment such as excavators or tree trimmers when needed.
• Good understanding of construction practices related to hardscape features like patios or pathways
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining grounds effectively
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
