Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds pristine.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for planting, grading, or hardscape installation projects.
• Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, overseeding, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth.
• Maintain trees through trimming, pruning, and tree care practices to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors.
• Support construction projects involving hardscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls.

Requirements

• Proven experience with landscaping tasks including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment such as power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design best practices.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during equipment operation and maintenance activities.
• Prior experience in construction or hardscape installation is a plus; certification in tree care or snow plowing is advantageous. Pay: $16.00 - $27.48 per hour
