You will be responsible for performing various tasks that keep landscapes healthy, safe, and visually appealing, ensuring our outdoor areas meet high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain lush, healthy turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing new plantings or flowers.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, planting, and debris removal.
• Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows to handle construction projects or seasonal snow removal.
• Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape structures.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and regular maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Support general groundskeeping duties such as debris cleanup, mulch spreading, and seasonal snow plowing to keep outdoor areas safe and attractive.

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong interest in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping work.
• Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including tree care, pruning techniques, and plant health management.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is required.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during equipment operation and landscape maintenance activities.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely while working independently when needed. Pay: $22.51 - $27.11 per hour
