Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to maintain lush, healthy turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and flower bed upkeep.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks like digging, planting, trimming, and installing hardscape features.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for landscaping projects or construction-related tasks.
• Maintain sprinklers during sod planting
• Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors and staff.
• Assist with landscape construction projects including installing hardscape elements like patios or walkways while adhering to safety standards.
• Flexible on day schedule hours between 8am-4pm, must show when scheduled.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems.
• Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control.
• Proficiency in landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree care (trimming or removal), gardening, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) efficiently.
• Familiarity with heavy machinery like excavators for construction or large-scale landscaping projects.
• Knowledge of snow plowing techniques to ensure safe winter conditions.
• Understanding of hardscape installation processes including patios or walkways construction.
