Landscaper/Lawn Care Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will work with a team to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass and landscape aesthetics.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Engage in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree care activities such as tree trimming, pruning, and removal as needed.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties.
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping enhancements.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools after each job.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and landscape design concepts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to landscaping tasks is essential.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
