Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
• Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care including trimming and removal.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently for various projects.
• Install hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to enhance landscape aesthetics.
• Manage irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and maintaining sprinkler systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers or shrubs, mulching beds, and seasonal clean-up like snow plowing when necessary.
• Assist with construction projects related to landscaping improvements while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge of gardening tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree trimming, mowing techniques, and hardscape installation will set you apart.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and general garden care will contribute to success in this role.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently along with basic construction skills will support your growth within the team.
