Landscaping and property maintenance team member

We are seeking a F/T Landscape and property maintenance member starting immediately. This position would be responsible for performing a variety of tasks. A general overview of these tasks include implementation of garden designs, fences, hardscapes, planting, pruning, weeding, edging, mulching, general property maintenance/upkeep, repairs, trucking, mowing, string trimming, etc.

We have a long term residential client base who expect us to continue to provide superior quality and service. We are NOT a commercial blow in mulch type of company.

The ideal Candidate would:

-Come prepared for work everyday

-Have a positive attitude

-Strong attention to detail

-Keen observational skills

-Ability to work as part of a small team or independently when needed

-Love being outside (in all weather conditions)

-Have knowledge of how to use all types of equipment & different skills (mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, skid steer, compactors, dump trucks, trailering, painting, plaster work, pruning, gardening, mulching, hardscapes, carpentry, etc)
-Have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation to/from work

- Must be able to drive dump truck and trailer

-Knowledge or desire to plow, snow blow and shovel during winter months

-Other winter work includes handyman services, painting, site work, maintenance, when available.

-Have field repair or shop repair/maintenance knowledge is a plus.

- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and extend tool life.

-Have basic plant knowledge is a plus

-Like to perform a variety of tasks

-Be reliable & take pride in the finish product of their work
-Like fast paced work environments

-No smoking on designated work locations (zero tolerance for any drug use)

-Must be able to sit, squat, stand & kneel for long hours, push, pull, reach & lift over 75lbs without over extending yourself

Hours are generally:
8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday; Overtime available during peak season

Company tee shirts and sweatshirts provided.

Pay based on experience. We are seeking someone who wants to help our company continue to grow.

Shop located in Kennebunk, ME

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
