Landscaping Crew Lead

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and irrigation system management
• Conduct tree care procedures such as pruning, trimming, and health assessments to promote healthy growth
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticultural practices, safety protocols, and technical skills

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license. DOT physical completion, preferred.
• Proven experience in landscaping, land maintenance, or related fields with a focus on landscape maintenance and gardening
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, and lawn care practices
• Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects such as patios or fencing
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety standards relevant to landscaping and construction work

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
