Landscaping Crew Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 2–5 team members on landscape installation projects
• Read and interpret site plans and set accurate grades using laser levels or transits
• Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems (drip and rotors), valves, and timers
• Perform and oversee drainage work, including French drains, dry wells, and swales
• Operate machinery such as skid steers, trenchers, and mini-excavators
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on job sites
• Communicate with clients, supervisors and team members to keep projects on schedule and on budget
• Train and mentor new crew members

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in landscaping with a focus on grading, irrigation, and drainage
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices
• Ability to operate landscape machinery and power tools safely
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
