Landscaping Driver

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine.
• Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant growth.
• Conduct gardening activities like planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays to enhance visual appeal.
• Maintain the health of lawns and gardens through fertilization, aeration, weed control, and pest management.
• Use hand tools for detailed landscaping work such as planting beds or installing edging materials.
• Assist with general groundskeeping duties including trash removal, soil preparation, and landscape repairs to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.

Skills

• Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques to promote healthy growth.
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control.
• Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools safely for various landscaping tasks.
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles related to gardening and plant care.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry materials as needed.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions accurately.
