Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaping Crew Member/Assistant Foreman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping tasks, contribute to maintaining beautiful outdoor environments, and support project supervision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. During winter months 3 Lakes Landscaping provides snow removal and snow plowing for commercial and residential customers. Valid drivers license is mandatory.

Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Support landscaping projects such as construction, planting beds, and installation of hardscapes
• Help with tree care activities like pruning, trimming, and removal under supervision
• Perform routine lawn care including mowing, string trimming, pack blowing, mulching, edging, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency during daily operations
• Contribute to general gardening and horticulture tasks to promote plant health and landscape aesthetics
• snow removal during winter months including but not limited to plowing, shoveling, snow haul outs

Experience

• 3+ years of prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, lawn care practices, and plant care is advantageous
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in advancing into supervisory roles
• Familiarity with construction activities related to landscaping projects is beneficial
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
