Landscaping Special Services Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping Special Services Foreman to lead and oversee specialized landscaping projects and maintenance operations. In this role, you will coordinate teams, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver exceptional outdoor environments. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction across a variety of landscaping services, including lawn improvement, tree care, irrigation, mulching, installation of new plants, synthetic turf jobs, pavers, etc. horticulture. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape beautiful landscapes while a team. Applicants Must have a valid & current Driver's License as well as experience driving dump body truck with equipment trailer attached.

Responsibilities

• Lead, work with and supervise landscaping crews on various projects and landscape services, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Manage work project budgeted timelines, materials loading, and equipment usage to optimize productivity
• Coordinate various special landscaping services such as lawn care, tree trimming, irrigation installation and maintenance, gardening, and horticultural tasks
• Lead safety protocols and ensure all team members follow OSHA guidelines and company policies
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members to enhance skills in landscaping, construction, maintenance, and specialized horticultural techniques
• Inspect work sites regularly for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project progress
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored landscaping solutions
• Manage and ensure proper use of tools for efficient project execution

Skills

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor construction
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, plant identification, planting, irrigation, foliage trimming, hardscapes, and landscape project principles
• Hands-on experience with construction activities including site prep, installation, and outdoor project execution
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping projects, or related fields
• Strong supervising experience with leadership qualities that motivate teams
• Expertise in tree care practices including pruning and health assessment
• Skilled in irrigation system repair, and maintenance
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to train staff in safety procedures and technical skills related to landscape maintenance and horticulture

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• driving truck with equipment trailer attached: 1 year (Required)
• Landscaping: 2 years (Required)
• Landscape Foreman/Crew Leader: 1 year (Required)
• Landscape installation/construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Synthetic lawn turf and/or putting green installation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bobcat or other heavy equipment operating: 1 year (Preferred)
