Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaping/Mowing Specialist to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Your expertise in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, inviting areas. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment to perform mowing, edging, pruning, and general yard maintenance
• Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and hardscape features to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to promote proper watering practices
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, fertilizing, aerating, and mulching to support plant health
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Trim trees and bushes using appropriate tools like saws and pruning shears while following safety protocols
• Support construction projects involving hardscape features such as patios or walkways by operating excavators or other heavy machinery when needed
• Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for pests or disease issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues requiring further attention

Requirements

• Proven experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, excavators, and irrigation systems is highly desirable
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, pruning, mowing, gardening, and snow plowing
• Familiarity with construction practices related to hardscape projects is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards ongoing learning and development
