Language Arts Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Language Arts classes
- Teach students various aspects of Language Arts, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Provide academic advising and support to students as needed
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction and student engagement
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking through activities such as creative writing exercises

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Florida teaching certification in Language Arts or relevant subject area
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of resources to support student learning
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in academic advising or counseling for students
- Familiarity with different teaching methodologies, including differentiated instruction
- Ability to create a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and participation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47,500.00 per year
