The Languages Title Manager helps oversee Spanish translation projects, manages dubbing projects, and handles the creation of accessibility format productions. This role also involves leading vendor management for dubbing studios and translation tools.

Essential functions
-
Oversee multiple large-scale language projects across a wide range of partners and languages for originated titles.

Managing the project management on titles originating from their respective territory being dubbed into a variety of dubbed languages.

Consistently develop relationships with our original content teams in order to strategically identify the challenges and complexities of localization on titles.

Capability to work with show-runners/filmmakers on titles to assess the intention of the original version and determine appropriate creative support and guidance for character/cast management, title sensitivities, and consistency across the title's localization strategy.

Foster and support consistent communication with cross-functional teams including Content Acquisitions, Language Production, Post-Production, Marketing, Legal, Globalization, Business Affairs, etc. to ensure strategy alignment around the distribution of Angel Studios' content.

Constantly execute creative and operational excellence for Angel Studios' content.

Work closely with in-territory partners (dubbing vendors and/or language production) to provide creative context about both titles and slates.

Manage context gathering, complexity signaling, budgets, source material distribution, schedules, and asset deliveries to ensure successful global launches of language assets.

Cultivate the adoption of new practices, workflows, and technology as it applies to Languages within the company.
-
Manage and own communication with external partners to ensure language assets are in a launch-ready state by a designated date.

Make sound independent decisions, and know when to escalate issues.

Work on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English and Spanish languages required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.
Physical demands - Will need to be able to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time.
Position type and expected hours of work - Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.
Travel required - Must be willing to travel if necessary.
Required education and experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

5-10 years of project management experience (creative/operations).
Preferred education and experience
Work authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
