Job responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues on laptops, such as operating system errors, malware, and malfunctioning components.
  • Repair and replace parts: Perform repairs on physical components like screens, keyboards, and motherboards, replacing damaged parts as needed.
  • Install and configure: Set up new systems, install software, and configure drivers and settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support: Assist customers with technical questions, provide guidance on laptop maintenance, and explain troubleshooting steps.
  • Maintain and document: Keep accurate records of all repairs, services performed, and parts used. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Stay updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest laptop technologies, software, and repair techniques.
  • Test functionality: Test all repaired laptops to ensure they are functioning correctly before returning them to the user.

Qualifications

  • Education: An associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred. Technical certifications are also a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in laptop repair and a similar technical support role is beneficial.
  • Skills:
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency with major operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
