Laser Designer - Denim

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Laser Designer – Denim to develop innovative laser wash designs for denim garments. The role involves creating laser artwork, operating laser machines, and coordinating with washing and production teams to ensure high-quality and cost-effective execution as per buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create laser designs such as whiskers, fading, abrasions, patterns, and branding on denim garments
• Prepare and modify laser artwork according to buyer specifications and sample feedback
• Operate and program laser machines to achieve desired wash effects
• Coordinate with R&D, washing, and production teams for design feasibility and execution
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across sampling and bulk production
• Maintain design files, approvals, and documentation
• Support continuous improvement in design innovation and process efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile, or relevant field (preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in denim laser designing
• Hands-on experience with laser software and design tools (Illustrator, CAD, or laser systems)
• Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, and finishing techniques
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with cross-functional teams
