We are seeking a nurse (RN) with a positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills to join our team. We believe that building relationships is the key to our success. About the Role:
- Dermacare is proud to be the premier medical aesthetics and plastic surgery on the Southern Coast of California, with five locations! We are seeking an experienced RN to ensure patient satisfaction and build their patient-clientele portfolio with aesthetic laser treatments in a fully onsite role.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered aesthetic care, delivering laser treatments in a professional, supportive, and team‑oriented environment. This role is responsible for performing a range of laser procedures and guiding patients through personalized treatment plans and skincare recommendations. The RN ensures all treatments are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with clinical protocols while maintaining thorough documentation and a clean, organized treatment space. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and a commitment to building long‑term patient relationships. The RN collaborates closely with clinical and front‑office staff, participates in ongoing training, and contributes to practice growth through exceptional service and patient education.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform a variety of laser-based aesthetic procedures (e.g. IPL, resurfacing, laser hair removal)
- Educate and consult with patients on treatment options and skincare
- Ensure proper documentation, informed consent, and treatment protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment space
- Collaborate closely with the clinical and front desk team to ensure seamless patient care
- Support marketing efforts and attend in-house trainings
COMPETENCIES:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in California
- Experience with a variety of aesthetic lasers
- Knowledge of skin and skin care
- A comfort with the sales process
- Positive, warm, and professional demeanor
- Excellent work ethic and dependability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected or normal vision and hearing to normal range.
- Fast paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations
- Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, near moving mechanical parts.
- Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary
WORKING CONDITIONS/ ENVIORNMENTAL EXPOSURE:
- Environmentally controlled medspa clinic.
- Fast paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations.
- Frequent interactions with patients, team members, providers and the public.
- Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, near moving mechanical parts.

Job Type: Part -time
Salary: $41.00 - $55.00 per hour
