We are expanding our non-surgical department and seeking an experienced Laser Technician specializing in medical-grade diode laser systems to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Laser Technician will perform diode laser treatments primarily for laser hair removal, and may assist with additional laser-based procedures as permitted by licensure. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, knowledgeable in skin typing (Fitzpatrick scale), and experienced in treating diverse skin tones safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diode laser hair removal treatments safely and effectively
• Conduct thorough patient consultations and determine candidacy
• Assess Fitzpatrick skin types and adjust parameters accordingly
• Operate medical-grade diode laser systems (e.g., 810nm platforms)
• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment notes
• Take standardized before-and-after photos
• Ensure compliance with Florida state regulations and physician supervision requirements
• Maintain laser safety standards and proper room protocols
• Support cross-selling of complementary aesthetic services

Required Qualifications (Florida)

• Active Florida license as one of the following:
• Electrologist (with Laser Hair Removal certification)
• Medical Aesthetician (if operating under physician supervision)
• RN, ARNP, PA, or higher medical credential
• Completion of a Florida-approved Laser Hair Removal training program
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1–2 years experience operating diode laser systems
• Strong understanding of laser physics and skin safety
• Experience treating skin types I–VI

Preferred Experience

• Experience with medical-grade diode systems (e.g., 810nm platforms such as Lumenis, Alma, Cutera, etc.)
• Experience in high-volume aesthetic clinics
• Ability to manage luxury clientele
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in Miami market
• Sales or package consultation experience

Compensation

• Competitive base salary: $45,000 – $75,000 annually (depending on licensure and experience)
• Hourly option available for part-time providers
