Laser Technician/Aesthetician

We are a busy medical aesthetic practice in Burr Ridge, IL., specializing in injectables, laser treatments, and skincare/skin rejuvenation services, including chemical peels, IPL. We are expanding to a new space and need qualified medical aestheticians to join our team.

PLEASE NOTE: A background check is required for this position.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

Performing laser hair removal treatments

Conducting skincare assessments and providing facials utilizing ZO Skin Health

Extensive knowledge of medical-grade skincare

Experience with Microneedling, microdermabrasion, epidermal leveling

Educating a patient on proper skincare techniques, sun protection, home care, etc.

Advising a patient for an upcoming procedure

Advising a patient on pre-treatment skincare, which may include oral or topical medicine applications

Obtaining a new patient’s skincare history, including a list of all products and medications used, as well as past services and procedures

Following up with a patient regarding physician-prescribed treatments

Answering patient questions about skincare concerns

Providing thorough instruction to patients on homecare

Maintaining proper patient charts, including HIPAA forms, informed consent and signed release forms, client care forms, and recommended homecare forms

Coordinating patient care with the physicians

Providing complementary consultations regarding skincare services

Serving as a liaison with the patient coordinator during the pre- and post-treatment period

Maintaining treatment rooms and workstations in compliance with OSHA standards

Maintaining equipment through cleaning and maintenance

Confirming patient appointments and making patient follow-up calls

Maintaining inventory systems for professional and retail products

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Experience:relevant: 2 years (Preferred)laser: 2 years (Preferred)License:aesthetic (Required)Additional. Prefer experience in a clinical setting:

Plastic Surgery or Dermatology practice. Candidates with experience in a practice setting will be considered first.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday, some Saturdays

Two locations- Plainfield and Morris

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
