Job Function:

Guide and lead our Technicians in the Laser Welding area. Produce product that exceeds internal/external customer expectations for quality, cost and delivery.

Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

  • Supervise and ensure proper training of all direct reports.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of your department’s operations (Laser Welding or Finishing
  • Ensure accuracy / quality on all jobs while meeting production schedules.
  • Communicate with Managers, Supervisors, lead people and fellow employees.
  • Perform Laser Welding and Finishing Operations within the assigned department.
  • Monitor / Enforce employee adherence to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain Brunk Industries high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Calculate labor collection.

Required Skills:

  • Leadership seminars/classes.
  • Proficient written communication skills.
  • High School math knowledge, reading & writing ability, or the equivalent.
  • General computer skills.

Education:

Minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.

  • Prior experience in a metal fabricating business or similar industry desired but not necessary.
  • Manufacturing production experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing setting with noise, dust, oil mist and fumes.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work standing most of the day.
  • Must wear steel toed protective shoes, safety glasses, gloves, shop shirt and wear hearing protection in the designated areas.
