Responsibilities

• Perform eyelash extensions, eyebrow shaping, body waxing, hair styling, and other esthetic treatments with precision and care.
• Manage daily client appointments efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to ensure smooth scheduling and record keeping.
• Provide expert consultations on skincare routines, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser procedures to educate clients on their options.
• Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Drive retail sales by recommending skincare products, makeup items, hair extensions, and other beauty essentials while upselling effectively.
• Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, share product demos, and build lasting relationships.
• Assist at the front desk with guest services including check-in/out processes, appointment confirmations, and answering client inquiries.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide personalized makeup applications to enhance client satisfaction.
• Support team collaboration by managing schedules, maintaining salon cleanliness, and ensuring all treatments adhere to health regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Lash Technician, Esthetician, or Cosmetologist with certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing.
• Hands-on expertise in eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading, body waxing, hair styling—including coloring—and nail care.
• Knowledge of advanced procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and tattooing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client records.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Experience in retail sales strategies including upselling products and services confidently to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ability to stay current on industry trends such as color theory, makeup application techniques, straight razor shaving, hair extensions installation, and body treatments.
• Prior experience in a med spa or luxury salon environment is a plus; hospitality skills are valued for creating an exceptional guest experience.
