Latin and other language In-Home Tutor

Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour

Hours: Minimum 2–3 hours per day, 2–3 times per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Latin Tutor to provide in-home instruction for our student. The focus will be on building a strong foundation in Latin, including vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Latin tutoring for at least 2–3 hours per day, with flexible scheduling on weekdays or weekends to accommodate our family’s needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and exercises to strengthen understanding of Latin grammar, translation, and vocabulary.
• Support school curriculum and assist with assignments, tests, and long-term retention.
• Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure effective learning.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Latin (middle school / high school level or above).
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to helping students succeed academically.
