Taylor Marine Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Friction Crane Operator to support marine construction operations along the Texas Gulf Coast. This position will involve operating lattice boom crawler cranes on marine and waterfront construction projects including mechanical dredging and pile driving operations.
The ideal candidate is a skilled operator with experience working around water-based construction environments, barges, and heavy civil marine work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate lattice boom crawler cranes in marine construction environments
- Perform mechanical dredging operations using clamshell buckets or similar attachments
- Assist with pile driving operations, including handling leads, piles, and hammer support
- Conduct daily crane inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition
- Work closely with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors to safely execute lifts
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and site safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be able to routinely pass a DISA hair follicle and background checks
- Proven experience operating lattice boom friction cranes
- Experience with Manitowoc 4100, 3900, or 2900 strongly preferred
- Experience with mechanical dredging and pile driving operations
- Ability to work safely in marine and waterfront construction environments
- Strong understanding of lift planning, load charts, and crane safety procedures
- NCCCO Lattice Boom Certification
- NCCCO Swing Cab Certification (Preferred)
