Laundress

Requirements :

• A minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience in a private household as a laundress or housekeeper with dedicated laundry duties.
• Strong knowledge of caring for high-end, designer, and delicate garments.
• Experience using professional-grade laundry equipment, irons, and steamers.
• Familiarity with advanced wardrobe organization and preservation techniques, including long-term and seasonal storage methods.
• Confidence in managing laundry supplies and procuring appropriate cleaning and storage products.
• Solid understanding of stain removal techniques and safe usage of fabric-specific chemicals.
• Ability to iron and press formal and structured garments (e.g., dress shirts, suits, table linens) to a professional finish.
• Experience coordinating with external dry cleaning and tailoring services, including managing instructions and ensuring quality control.
• Must provide references and/or evidence of prior laundry-specific work (e.g., written references, trial performance, portfolio, or photos of work).
• Candidate will be required to undertake a trial at the household.
