Laundry Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing guests with a clean and comfortable experience in our hotel environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning methods or report issues as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring all items are handled with care.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating laundry equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
• Ability to operate various laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
