The Laundry Assistant processes, cleans, folds, and delivers facility and resident laundry in compliance with infection control standards, ensuring sufficient and clean supplies for resident comfort and dignity.
- Maintain separation of soiled and clean laundry per infection control policies.
- Operatewashers and dryers according to facility procedures and manufacturer instructions.
- Handle residents' personal laundry with care, ensuring proper return to owners.
- Stock linen carts and closets,maintainingorganization and accessibility.
- Assistin preparation for surveys and inspections.
- Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
- Knowledge of infection control and housekeeping standards.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
