Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other textiles in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with laundry operations, and a strong attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are met. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where your skills contribute directly to guest satisfaction and overall operations. Position is 3 days a week. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Pay 13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning machines efficiently and safely
• Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other textiles according to hotel standards
• Perform dry cleaning procedures on delicate or specialized items as needed
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for use or distribution
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing workspaces and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low
• Support other housekeeping or maintenance staff as required to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills

• Prior experience with laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry machinery operation and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail to ensure linens meet quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Good organizational skills for sorting and managing large quantities of textiles
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary
