Laundry Attendant (Part Time)

Join our team as a Laundry Attendant at Residence Inn Walnut Creek!

In this role, you'll ensure that every towel, sheet, and uniform is cleaned and delivered perfectly. As a Laundry Attendant, you'll handle sorting, washing, ironing, and folding. Your attention to detail will help maintain our hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Hourly pay: $18.00

Your Role:

As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll maintain a constant supply of clean linens, ensuring everything from guest towels to staff uniforms is handled with care and efficiency. Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload linens and laundry items through washers, dryers, and chutes.
• Iron, fold, store, and deliver linens to ensure a consistent supply of fresh, clean items for the hotel.
• Clean and maintain laundry machinery and the laundry area to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors, keeping all linens off the floor and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Understand and operate washing machines and dryers, cleaning dryer filters daily and maintaining all equipment as trained.
• Follow safe work practices to ensure the safety of guests and fellow employees and be familiar with all hotel policies and house rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of laundry or housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Flexible availability.
