Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling
• Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing laundry areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Handle special cleaning requests including dry cleaning or stain removal with care and precision
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
• Follow all safety procedures and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks
